The Boston Shamrocks Organization

The Boston Shamrocks Ice Hockey Organization includes several different programs of varying skill levels and playing abilities. The Boston Shamrocks hockey family currently consists of:

Elite U19 Women's Hockey Team

The Boston Shamrocks Elite U19 Women's Hockey Team is a Full Season USA Hockey registered U19/Canadian Intermediate AA team and plays in the Junior Women's Hockey League (JWHL) on college campuses against some of the best teams in North America. The Elite U19 Women's Hockey Team also plays in some of the top tournaments in the United States and Canada guaranteeing outstanding competition and maximum exposure to college and National team coaches. The Boston Shamrocks provide campus housing, with on-site supervision by two live-in assistant coaches, to out of town players or those looking for an academy experience.

The Boston Shamrocks Elite U19 Women's Hockey Team has a consistent schedule of late afternoon practices, four days a week on weeks with games, and six days a week when there are not any games. Along with the on ice practices, the team also utilizes classroom and video sessions to ensure a thorough understanding of positional and team tactics and the development of the "complete player." All home games and practices are held at Ristuccia Arena, the NHL Boston Bruins' Practice and Training facility in Wilmington, Massachusetts. 

Girls Youth Hockey Program

The Boston Shamrocks Girls Youth Hockey Program is a direct development program for the Boston Shamrocks Elite Women's Team and holds open tryouts in late March or early April prior to each season. The Girls Program consist of multiple Full and Half Season teams competing from the U10 through U19 levels. The Girls Teams are USA Hockey Registered and compete in the New England Girls Hockey League (NEGHL) and/or the JWHL. The NEGHL is USA Hockey Registered and plays its games pursuant to USA Hockey rules.

The Boston Shamrocks Girls Youth Hockey Program is based out of the Ristuccia Arena, in Wilmington, Massachusetts and offer an active practice schedule including: two set weekly prime-time practices; weekly shooting, stick handling & skating skills; off-ice training and goalie specific skills & training. 

Sled Hockey Program

The Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey Program is a totally free program based out of the Allied Memorial Veterans Rink at 65 Elm Street in Everett, Massachusetts. The Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey program is for both the experienced and novice sled hockey player. The Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey Team plays in the Northeast Sled Hockey League (NESHL). The Boston Shamrocks also hold free sled hockey sessions for those who would like to put their disabilities on ice, grab a sled and a couple of sticks and experience sled hockey for either their first time or their hundredth time. Parents, kids, teenagers and their family members with and without disabilities are also welcome to try out sled hockey for free!
