Friday, January 13, 2017, 4:45PM

The Boston Shamrocks Sled Hockey Program is a totally free program based out of the Allied Memorial Veterans Rink at 65 Elm Street in Everett, Massachusetts. It is Beantown’s home for competitive sled hockey. The Shamrocks Sled Hockey program is for both the experienced and novice sled hockey player. The Shamrocks Sled Hockey Team plays in the Northeast Sled Hockey League (NESHL). The Boston Shamrocks also hold free sled hockey sessions for those who would like to put their disabilities on ice, grab a sled and a couple of sticks and experience sled hockey for either their first time or their hundredth time. Parents, kids, teenagers and their family members with and without disabilities are also welcome to try out sled hockey for free!

As a member of NESHL, the Shamrocks Sled Hockey Team is required to travel to many different states. The team also competes in tournaments that require extensive travel. It also requires the use of equipment specific to sled hockey. Sled hockey has a small variety of equipment suppliers to provide the sleds, sticks, and picks that are unique to sled hockey. To make all of this happen we ask for your support! Contributions allow the team to compete, travel and continue to provide the opportunity for athletes of all abilities to find their strength through hockey!
